I can't believe that it is over, I have trained since June and just like that, it is over. I am so glad that I did and had the best TEAM to train with. I felt good on and off throughout the course but I hit the WALL the last 3 miles. My feet hurt and my hamstrings killed, but I had Dave riding aside me to keep pushing me along. I don't know what I would have done without him telling me what a great job I was doing and how proud of me he was . I started the marathon with my cousin Stephanie. We had a great time being together and pushing each other thorough the race. I am looking forward to running the marathon next year with some new and old faces. Yes, I am all ready looking forward to running it again. This year the sun was HOTT it took alot out of me and I think that was a big factor on my slowness. I know some new thing to do for next year that will help me like getting my legs rubbed with Ben Gay and get Vaseline for my inner thighs sooner. All in all, I am happy that I got to run with my cousin and had a fun team to train with. My time was 5:26:06. I was shooting for 4:30 but now I have something to work for . Dave and Spencer came and found us around mile 21. What a life saver they were! They brought us Pepsi to get our sugar up. They rode next to us till the finish line. Like I said earlier, it made a big difference to have them cheering us on the rest of the way. THANKS guys! I want to THANK my Mom and Dad for always supporting me in everything I do. They are always there to cheer me on and help me out with my kids. Also I want to THANK Grandma Judy, John, Patty and her girls for coming and cheering me on as well. They are always so good to be at everything my family does. Love you all!!! I think we ROCKED IT! I am so proud of us. I am so glad we can share so much together till next month when we run the Snow canyon 1/2 marathon.
